Ruth Parker

Biologist

Ruth Parker is a conservation biologist with research knowledge of farmer conservation issues. Her book with Brita Lomba on renosterveld, Renosterveld – A Wilderness Exposed, drew attention to conservation issues on farmland in the Western Cape. She has worked in research issues around climate change and is a keen hiker.
Ruth has been involved in the advocacy of inclusive education in schools, particularly in the mainstreaming of special needs learners into government schooling.
